Summary of the Village Women Support program in Tanzania

This program is ongoing and you can participate at any time for any term. To book you in we need your tentative arrival and departure dates that we can then adjust with the final flight info.
We pay USD 100 per month fee/stipend as 2 times the Tanzania national minimum wage. It is not a lot but when we wood with developing country terms it is still good pocket money for daily expenses.
The project is located at the beautiful and peaceful Madale village at Dar es Salaam Region some 30km from the city center.

The Student Compound at Madale village provides low-cost accommodation of USD 175 per week bed and breakfast and dinner. The program does not include any fees. You also need airport pick up USD 60 and Airport drop off USD 60.
Internship immigration permit is a business VISA, USD 250, available without documentation at Dar es Salaam airport immigration. If you stay longer than 3 months we need to process you Class C Student Permit being USD 250 plus processing cost USD 30 (prints and deliveries).
Benefits include low-cost volunteer position safaris and tours to National parks as Serengeti, N’gorongoro, and others as well as Mt. Kilimanjaro climbs. Also, your relatives and friends can enjoy this benefit while you are in Tanzania.
